Brief bio: Julie Brimblecombe is a principal research fellow and head of the nutrition program at Menzies School of Health Research. She has a Future Leader Fellowship with the Heart Foundation. Julie’s research is providing new insights into the determinants of diet for Indigenous people in remote Australia and contributing evidence on innovative interventions to nutrition improvement. Her current research focus is on supporting the capacity of local decision-makers to shape healthy food environments.
